Change starts from within -we act for green!

Here in SBi Group, we act GREEN. This is a voluntary initiative which aims to reduce the environmental impact of our products. We have implemented many policies in our organisation that strive to handle our global ecological problem. We try to encourage this way of thinking in our employees so we can all go green at least a little bit. Of course, we know it’s easier said than done. It’s a global problem that we alone cannot solve.

“Here at SBi Group we recycle, we reuse packaging and we encourage all our distributors to follow the same steps!”

Radoslav Kadiyski CEO

How can a garage door be green?

Yes, even garage doors can be eco-friendly and energy efficient. How does this work? Those types of products are designed and constructed with minimal environmental impact. Essential aspects of such design are the door’s life cycle, the materials used, the energy efficiency, the manufacturer’s process, and the use of recycled materials.

Benefits of an Eco-friendly garage door!

The obvious one is energy savings. A well-installed garage door will prevent heat loss and gain, thereby eliminating unnecessary energy consumption. Upgrading your premises to more energy efficient products will save you money, it’s as simple as that. Another important benefit is the lower replacement, repair and maintenance costs. Durable materials provide a longer lifespan. The last one is the so-called curb appeal. Also, don’t forget – bragging rights for being an eco-friendly home.

Green philosophy!

We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children.”

Native American proverb

We try to encourage our employees to make a difference. This can be in any way they deem fit. For example, they can go out and plant a tree. Of course, not everyone can do that so even donating a small amount to a campaign that does this can help immensely. You can figure out a way to try to reduce your carbon footprint at your own pace.

Stop using disposable, one-use items and opt for reusable instead. This can include plastic bags, cups, bottles and more. You can start working on reducing, reusing and recycling as much as possible. I know it is hard but even baby steps help.

Change starts from within!

Here is a fine example of our partner’s commitment to embracing change and acting for green.

“We strive to have a minimum of 50% recycled cardboard and all the instruction guides from recycled paper.”
